Intercollegiate Student Tours. Europe 1933. A series of highly delightful, enjoyable and educational excursions through Europe for students, teachers, business and professional men and women, and kindred spirits.
[141485] (TOURISM - OCEAN STEAMERS) [Intercollegiate Travel Bureau].
New York: Adolph Rozenoer for Intercollegiate Travel Bureau, [1933]. Octavo, 64 pages. Color pictorial wraps, staple bound. Amply illustrated. As the title suggests, the Intercollegiate Travel Bureau wasn't too particular about their client base. If you were a warm body, this booklet would try to sell you on vacation tours for sailing in French Line and Italian Line steamers and motoring tours. The half tones from photographs have wonderful nonsensical captions like a blurb about seeing a famed Da Vinci fresco stating: “You should plan to go very soon if you hope ever to see this masterpiece...” Not found on OCLC. $45
