Wheeler was the attorney of the Anti-Saloon League of America. He accuses the mayor of Newark of being complicit with the local saloon gang and the mob who happily lynched the officer. The officer was serving as an undercover prohibition liquor agent. The details of the event are vivid and Wheeler calls for “Militant Manhood” and for brave men to take a stand against the anarchy of lawlessness and liquor. $200
